URGENT: Request for help at Camp James Ray

Please rally as many of your OA members, youth and adults, as you possibly can. Lake Texoma is well over 20ft above normal and the flooding at camp is substantial. You can see pictures at the Beautiful Camp James Ray Facebook page.

The first need is for tonight, May 26, 2015. The cabin will most likely be flooded soon. Ranger David Carson is asking for anyone who can come to camp this evening to fill and stack 500 sandbags to try to save the cabin. They are aiming for a 4-5pm start time.

The second need is Saturday, May 30.  We need as many people as we can get to be at camp around 9am. We will be relocating platforms and setting up tents primarily. The ranger may need us to do more. It is a stay as long as you can work day.

Please, please help get the word out. We will need adults to drive. This has become a critical situation. Summer camp starts in 3 weeks so it's going to take a lot of work to make it happen.

Anyone can contact Michell Crawford for more information. Her cell is 214-793-2933
